Twenty six species of mammals have been recorded in the park including the largest surviving population of Nilgiri tahr. You can have a close encounter with these rare and endangered mountain goat species at the wildlife sanctuary. The chances of spotting a Nilgiri Tahr are very high at this park.

Day 01: Cochin - Munnar (130 km / 4 Hrs. approx., By Road) (L)
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Munnar, a hill station town located on the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala. On arrival in Munnar, check-in to your hotel. Take rest and be engulfed in a sea of a thousand shades of green.
Overnight stay is at hotel in Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar Sightseeing (B, D)
Post breakfast move out for sightseeing of the lush green hills of the town. Munnar is the commercial center of some of the world’s highest tea-growing estates. Ranging from adventures to plantations trail and nature, Munnar has something special to offer to its guests. The tea gardens in Munnar are a must visit for tourists. Learn the art of tea making by watching the various steps of tea production in the tea factories right from plucking the leaves to sorting, drying and grinding of leaves. Take back home some freshly picked and manufactured tea as souvenirs form Munnar. Later head to the Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park, the home of Nilgiri Tahr (a unique endangered goat species), found only in Munnar and in some isolated areas of the Nilgiri biosphere
Located in the high ranges of the Kannan Devan Hills the Eravikulam National Park is also home to variety a of wild animals like deer, bison and elephant. The national park stands out for its stark beauty of the rolling grasslands and sholas. Later, visit the Mattupeety Lake, a man-made water body formed from a small hydroelectricity dam, set amidst the steep hills and thick woods, offering great views and ample opportunities for photography enthusiasts.
The National Park remains closed during February to 1st week of April every year. However, we are offering an Optional Tour during the closed period. Please find the details below.
(Optional Tour): Take a tour of the IndoSwiss dairy farm located amidst the green grasslands, 3 km approx. from Mattupetty dam. The farm is home to around hundreds varieties of high quality cattle and about 400 heads of cattle are reared here. The Indo Swiss dairy farm is actually landmark in the field of cattle rearing in Kerala. While driving to Mattupetty, do not miss to stop over at the Top Station situated in the Kannan Devi hills of Munnar. Located around 32 kms away from Munnar, it is the highest point in Munnar. Enjoy panoramic views of Western Ghats. At this highest point, you may feel the clouds are just a hand touch away from you. The destination is famous for the Neelakurinji flowers.

Day 03: Munnar to Cochin (B)
Post breakfast,check-out from your hotel and drive to Cochin.On arrival at Cochin,get dropped off at your hotel or transfer to the airport and take back pleasant and unforgettable memories of India.
